Sunday, the way La Jolla does it

You walk down from the village, coffee in hand, and within twenty steps you’re in front of cars most people only see in books — a 1930s Duesenberg, a Ferrari that won at Le Mans, a Porsche someone restored from a barn in Ramona.

"I've lived in San Diego for twenty years and this is still the best Sunday of the year. The cars, the food, the cove, nothing else comes close." — Dave M., University City

"You walk up to a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT sitting on the grass at the cove with the Pacific behind it and you realize there's nowhere else you'd rather be on a Sunday." — Sarah L., La Jolla

"This is the one weekend we block off every spring. Friday night at the Soirée, Sunday on the cove, and the whole village feels alive in between." — Melissa T., Pacific Beach
